Boarding
A Sleepover at Dogtown
KENNEL-FREE boarding is incredibly unusual for the pet care industry. At Dogtown, we choose to prioritize the dogs’ well-being over profit. Dogs are family, and they want to play, cuddle, and be part of a pack. Dogs value togetherness and want to be in a comfortable environment, not locked up like property in cold, concrete enclosures. Marketing a kennel as a “suite” or “luxury lodging” doesn’t make it any less of a kennel. We want to be there for you and your dog, providing them with the second-best alternative to being with you. That is why Dogtown exists. Whether you are embarking on the trip of a lifetime, dealing with a last-minute emergency, or catching a red-eye flight out of town, we are always here and available to care for your pets as if they are our own.
Boarding Features
Cuddles, not Kennels!
Our dogs stay in furnished group rooms with a human and other dogs, so they never have to feel lonely.
Live Webcams
Tune in for peace of mind and hours of entertainment. Even if you want to watch your dog sleeping at night, go for it! We have cameras all over the building!
Meals and Meds
At Dogtown, we want dogs to be comfortable, and that means not changing their diets. Bring your dog's food portioned into individual meals. We feed up to three times per day.

Boarding Tips
All dogs must be evaluated
Dogs new to boarding must first be evaluated and must be friendly. Dogs must also have all vaccines, and if older than 6 months old, they must be spayed/neutered. We recommend new dogs attend a few days of daycare before being boarded.
All you need to bring is your dog and food!
Please bring your dog's meals portioned out into individual baggies or containers. If you plan to leave your dog for a long period of time, do not hesitate to increase your dog's food. Daycare burns a lot of calories so to avoid any weight loss, feel free to increase your dog's meal portions. You may also bring treats for your dog. Please do not bring bowls, blankets, toys, or other personal items.
Meals and meds are given on a schedule
We feed and give dogs medicine on a schedule. You choose the combination that works for you: breakfast (5:30AM), lunch (11:30AM), or dinner (4:30PM). Unfortunatley, we CANNOT give your dog medicine or food at other times that are outside of our routine. Dogs who are “grazers” at home will be offered food at all meals.
Not eating may be normal
Sometimes dogs are excited or nervous and it’s not uncommon for dogs to refuse to eat the first day or two while boarding. This is normal, but but please feel free to bring something (such as peanut butter or canned food) that we can add to your dogs food to help him/her eat better (this is optional.) Dogs will eventually adjust and start eating but we will call you if your dog has refused food for an excessive amount of time.
Packages are non-refundable
Boarding can be purchased in a package to save you money. You can buy multiple days at a discounted rate (depending on the number of days you purchase) in a pacakage and use them whenever you like.
