My dog had Parvo, but is better now. When can my dog come to Dogtown?

If your dog had Parvo, it can shed for some time, and is very contagious and deadly.  All dogs at Dogtown are fully vaccinated against Parvo, but we are very cautious when a known infection has occurred.  Our policy is as follows:  After your dog completely recovers and is symptom-free, you must wait 30 days before bringing your dog for daycare.  Furthermore, your veterinarian must sign off that your dog is cleared for daycare, your dog must be vaccinated with all boosters, and your home and yard must be completely disinfected after being cleared by your veterinarian.  This is due to the fact that Parvo can reattach to your dog and spread to other dogs and even reinfect your dog.
