Your dog does not necessarily need to come additional days prior to boarding, other than the evaluation day. However, for the best success of some dogs, it may be best to come a few days to get your dog used to the process of being dropped off and picked up. It can also help your dogs build tolerance for the level of exercise they will get. If your dog is apprehensive, we may recommend some daycare before a boarding stay. If your dog absolutely loves daycare and is high energy, or has prior experience in daycare, your dog may not need an acclimation period at all.
